Memorial Day 2014

I got back from CA in time to celebrate Memorial Day remembering those who have passed. Thinking about those who have and are now serving our Country so thankful for there service.

Went to the Centerville Cemetery, it was so pretty with all the flowers and seeing all the people that were remembering those they loved that have passed.

When I went over to the cemetery on Sunday evening I meet these cute boys there. Mitch was also there, he is the one that put the shotgun shells there. He said his Dad would like them better than the flowers and he is probable right.

Mark and his family joined us. Spending some time remembering. Michelle brought some Irises which was one of Jack's favorite flowers.

I loved that Larsen was the first one to put flowers on his Grandpa's grave and posted it on Instagram. (and got 102 likes)

Claudine and Wayne spending some time on Monday remembering.

Mom wanted to go over to see the grave and pay her respects to Jack. She enjoyed the bench.

All decorated!!! Love that the Brown family (from our Ward) put the flags on all the veterans graves, all 365.

Mom and I went over to Bountiful Cemetery to pay our respects to Cherie. Such a great lady that passed way too soon.

" May The Lusty Month of May"

May was a busy month for me but a fun one. It started with me going to Kristy's for 2 weeks. I am glad I could go so I could take care of the kids while Kristy and Tyler went the Cody WY and Denver CO to check out jobs and the areas. To start out the stay Kristy and Tyler's friends Amanda and Jack invited us over for Sunday dinner. We walked into the back to find this little bit of heaven. I loved their back yard. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Also the food was yummy. And the company great.

They had these on their trees, this one was my favorite, felt like a fairy garden.

Loved the flowers.

Th most fun about the trip was getting to know the kids a little better. Zachary is always busy, but he doesn't have to be entertained. He entertains himself. He is like his Uncle Mark and always making some kind of noise. Such a happy boy.

I was there over Mother's Day, these are the flowers the Boys and family sent me. They made me happy. They also sent me a bracelet which I loved. The girls were just as attentive. I did feel loved.

Ellie had a project do at school while her parents were gone. So impressed with the way she just got it done with no help or being told to do it. She is turning into a very responsible young lady.

Michell just got his Arrow of Light at Scouts. Very proud of him. I did get a cold while I was there and all the kids took very good care of me, doing anything I asked. Love them all.

Kristy's peonies were in blossom while I was there so pretty. Spring in VA is so great with all the flowers.

After VA I flew to CA to spend some time with Jack's sister. It was a very relaxing time. This is were we spent each morning, reading, talking and eating. Can't get much better.

Merrilyn has dinner with these fun ladies every Wednesday and they visited me along. It was fun to get to know them.

One of the afternoons we got a rare rain storm. If you look close you can see the drops.

Merrilyn dancing in the rain.

I couldn't let her have all the fun!!

After sitting and watching it rain Merrilyn brought this fun cup of hot chocolate to me. Such a great Hostesses.

On Saturday the 24th we went to DeAnne's house for a reunion with Jack's family. It was so fun to see them and talk and catch up. This is part of DeAnne and Don's back yard.
